I used 2 lbs of hamburger, didn't have beef broth so used straight beef bullion and I made this on the stovetop not the crockpot. Turned out perfect. I followed the recipe to the letter. The meat was so tough that we could not chew it. It was stew meat from Costco. I cooked on low for 5 1/2 hours. It was also very runny and could have had more flavor. Total bust for me. I do not use broth at all. That may be the cause of this. Also I put the cream cheese in at the beginning of cooking this. I also substitute lipton onion soup mix for the actual onion. I use all of the other ingredients the same. Its yummy!amberleighhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03864521162148242189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8241729901869234137.post-87860169419030784512015-02-12T01:27:41.131-08:002015-02-12T01:27:41.131-08:00She said to leave cream cheese room temp. She said to leave cream cheese room temp.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06113854113803871338noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8241729901869234137.post-63181124527825604392015-01-25T15:49:13.517-08:002015-01-25T15:49:13.517-08:00Was a little disappointed, turned out very runny. ...Was a little disappointed, turned out very runny.
